UK Tour Diary part £

I'm in an internet cafe
in the far south of England
and I have to poop.

I'm sorry I haven't
been telling you more,
not about poop,
but about my adventures.

One week down and no hotels bought.

One week?
is that all?

Lot's of stories,
I don't really know
where to begin.

shows have been good,
some great,
but I thought the London
show was the weakest,
which is too bad,
because there was a guy
from the BBC Radio One
in the audience.

ah, well...
what can you do?

It didn't suck,
but it sure didn't
rock like last night in Bath.

But I saw lot's of old friends,
and I met two diehard fans
from the internet,
and that's cool.

Thanks to the following
people for letting us sleep
in their homes, I hope I don't
forget anyone:

Trav
Brook and Will
Mike
Barry Vagina
Ben
Fifi

umm...
I think that might be it so far.

I've got lots more gigs to play,
and I just bought eight more tapes
for the video camera.

We are getting some killer
fucking footage, I just wish
I had this camera over the
last couple of years.

There's some stunts and
general hooliganism from
the Pauly days that I wish
I had documented.

That's life,
move forward,
and record.

I will definitely
be working on a DVD
as soon as I get
back to the States.

And I'm still trying
to sort out a date
in Chicago for a Christmas party.

sort out?

Jesus,
I've been talking
to too many English people.

UK part 2

Holy shit
I'm tired.

Four gigs down so far,
tomorrow I start eleven in a row.

Things I've learned in England:

Minge is slang for vagina,
I love that.

There are a lot of Chavs in Barnsley,
but the people are cool.

(a chav, if you haven't heard,
is kinda like White Trash meets Gangsta,
they're a menace over here)

Driving a stick with your left
hand is a breeze.

Girls in pubs might be sixteen,
so when they ask you how old you
are when you're flirting with them,
and they reply to your answer with,
"whoa....."

watch out.

Bonehead was the bass player
for Oasis. I opened for his
new band the other night.

They were terrible.
The show itself was kinda terrible,
but Bonehead was pretty friendly.

Ed and I have been having a blast,
he's my UK booking agent/ manager dude,
if I haven't told you.

We've been driving, laughing,
staying at people's houses,
drinking, drinking, smoking,
drinking, and smoking.

pot.

My reputation seems to precede me.

Everyone that has put us up
has freshly stocked up on grass.

I don't want to be rude.....

But tonight,
we are off.

Resting,
relaxing with a bit
of red wine in my friend
Brook's house in London.

The,
I have eleven gigs in a row.
I can't wait.

I found myself antsy to move
this morning, because we had stayed
in the same house two nights in a row.

Traveling is getting into my bloodstream.

Money is decent,
we are staying on top
and building up some funds.

CD sales have not been stellar,
but there's plenty more to go.

Thanks to everyone who
has checked out the show,
and/or put us up,
you've been very friendly
and English.

PS
We're getting a lot,
a lot, a lot... of great
footage for a future DVD.

I think its going to be awesome.

like you.

Bye Buy Bi

See you later.

I've gotta go to England.

I'll try my best to write
while I'm gone.

I should keep a journal or something.

I'm going to shoot a lot of video,
Ed is coming around with me,
and hopefully he'll shoot a lot too.

I've got my rental car,
my flight,
my satellite navigation
system for the UK,
and some clothes,
and a guitar,
and a Wazinator stomp pedal.

Thanks for the great shows
in Chicago and Bloomington,
and even Berwyn.

Stay tuned for info
about the next US tour in 2008,
and possible a Christmas show in Chicago.

I'll be back with stories
and a slight accent,
and a fondness for heat.

They don't use much of it over there.

see you later.
